A vanity project by Wexford-based comedian Barry O'Neill, starring and directing and writing. About Ireland's answer to Inspector Clouseau, supported by a cast of Irish stars who were presumably roped into this to help Barry. Critical Reception & Ratings
Dick Dickman, P.I. is a 2008 Irish comedy film that received a mixed critical reception. The film, written, directed, and starring comedian Barry O'Neill, follows a bumbling private detective investigating the disappearance of a fiddle player. While the film features a cast of Irish stars, it seems to be primarily a vanity project for O'Neill, with critics divided on its overall quality and audience appeal.
